Here we go...

So I am back online at home YEY!

Maddie had her Christmas program last night. It was so cute and she did such a good job, I am so proud of her. Right now she is trying to shove her sister in a box.

I finally got my Pampered Chef kit, so I'm a consultant now. YEY. Had my first 2 shows this weekend. Did pretty good, minimal injury to myself. Only cut myself once, so pretty good odds so far. I lost one host that I was banking on having lots of her teacher friends there, so I'm not getting the bookings that I need. I can only use my family so much. I have one booked for Jan (my cousin) and another lady wants to do one in April. I'm fine with that, but I would rather book my next few months THEN start doing further into the year. I'm thinking that my other aunt's show will just be a book show. She does not have many friends, and the only people that I will be inviting would be family that has already been to shows plus will be going to my grandmas show. Sucks.

We have one friend up for the holidays, been spending time with him. My cousin is here from California, just found out about it yesterday. This is going to suck. They decided to move our Christmas Eve get together to Christmas Day. That's when we normally went to his grandparents. So now I don't know what's going on. I gave up Thanksgiving at my family's that we always do to go to someones house that we don't know (in his family) and now I won't get to do Christmas with my family because he's a big baby and if he does not get his way he cries about it.

Well I'm going to try to get back into the swing of things...wordless Wednesdays and such. Hopefully I'll be making money!

Trick or Treat

Here are the girls costumes. I made Maddies and it turned out good enough that she won 1st place in the costume contest. I was very proud! She got $5, which is more than what her costume cost!

I'm actually having more fun than I thought I would be having doing this. My aunt got the idea in my head to do a "theme" with the girls. I already had the one costume (reusing the first one that Maddie wore her first Halloween for Mak) but the other one, I couldn't find it anywhere, so I'm making it. You really think I'm going to tell you what it is? Please...You have to wait until I'm done and get the girls pictures together :D I know I'm mean like that. HEHE.

I know it's been a while since I have been able to post anything. Sorry. I don't have the Internet at home and things are not going so well. We are trying to float, but seem like all we are doing is drowning.

The girls are doing great. Mak is starting to walk! She has 4 teeth, and is starting to bite...only me though. *roll eyes* Maddie is going to school and LOVES it. She went on a field trip yesterday that I totally forgot about. We were late getting to school and they reminded me by telling me that they all left like 10 minutes before. I had to rush home, get dressed, grab Mak's stuff, run her to grandmas, then go to the Pumpkin Patch. OMG. I felt horrible! I kept apologizing to Maddie. We made it for snacks and a story and the hay ride to pick out our pumpkins. Then they got to play on the playground. She had fun. She's too smart for her own good if you ask me.

I'm going to start selling Pampered Chef, hopefully that will help us get ahead. I am excited about it. I'm just hoping that I will be able to get shows booked, so cross your fingers!

Well there is my little update. Sorry it's not more. I'm working on getting the Internet back at home. I miss it! But there are more important things that need taken care of first.

New Shoes?

There are million thing that I would love to have! However, money prevents me from obtaining them at this moment.

I would *LOVE* a fabulous new purse, that top that fits just perfectly on my extra baby fat belly, new pants that make my ass look like it came from a supermodels body...most importantly SHOES. I love shoes. These are my favorite pair of shoes...I love these shoes. I got them Mothers Day weekend. I even let my 3 year old clomp around in them (occasionally) and SHE loves them. They make me feel sexy! If you don't have a pair of shoes that makes you feel sexy, your missing out. You REALLY need to find a pair.

While reading some blogs I came across one that said there was a giveaway at this other blog. Well I just had to check it out and guess what they are giving away...That's right...SHOES!! You heard read me right, they are giving a way a pair of shoes! Go fast, check it out, I'll wait! Classy Shoes Giveaway!!!

I would love a pair of these...she was dusting the house in them, they gotta be comfy! If I don't win, I'll have to save my pennies!

OMG! I so am not touching my blog ever again! I'm happy with pink and black, and with the way it looks!

Thank you SO much to Lisa ( www.diaperstodating.blogspot.com ) for getting my banner up, and making my page look less smooshed. Your a doll!

We (Lisa and I because she was getting all goofy eyed looking at my HTML code, that she told me what to look for) couldn't figure out how to get the signature that Alisha (www.really-seriouslythough.blogspot.com/) made for me on the blog. Some how the thing just wasn't there. So, after looking all day yesterday, I decided that it wasn't that important. Well today I looked again, still wasn't there. There was one just slightly different than the one that we were looking for. I put my HTML knowledge from my web page I made to use...and walla I have a siggy!! YEY!

I'm still waiting on word from Lisa that I didn't screw anything up. Also, I'm not so sure I like the white behind the pink...it doesn't look right. I think if at all possible I would like it black, that way all you see is my name in pink. IDK tho. If it's to difficult, I'll leave it. I have caused enough headaches in the past day or 2....

I hate that all my friends live in different states. I can't really bake a cake and send to Lisa to thank her (since cakes are my thing now...). It wouldn't make shipping in one peice...unless...hmmm..I could put it on dry ice...*pondering* I might just have to try this once....just to see if it makes it and is in one piece...and still tastes like cake after it thaws....hmm...

How much is dry ice? Where do you get it? I'm serious about trying this...What would I need? Dry Ice, Cake, Box for cake, Bigger styrofoam box for cake and dry ice, something to keep dry ice off box cake is in...what else? (this might have to wait until I have extra money...)

If you have any extra ideas send them my way!

Are you HTML challaged?

Yeah well, apparently that would be me too. Even though I made a web page by myself...I be dumb doing it on blogger. OMG.

I spent ALL day yesterday fixing my blog, only to RUIN it!

Now, things that worked perfectly before are not working now. My cool blog banner thingy that Lisa (http://www.diaperstodating.blogspot.com/) made me...will not load AT ALL. The picture says it's there when I bring it from my computer. I even tried to load one off some web page that has free header thingys. OMG! What did I do??

Lesson 1: When it's not "broke" don't fix it!

Yes, I hate the fact that my blog looks "smooshed" and that there is so much room on the sides of that blog that I would love to move my side bar over and have more room for my actual posts. But, I can live with the "smooshieness" of the posts. I just want my banner back! *read that as whiny as you can, because that's how I said it*

I am patiently waiting Lisa (mentioned above) to look and see if she can fix it. Not sure if she can. I probably farked it up good. Leave it to me to do it too.

If there is anyone out there willing to help me, please do. The more the merrier in my opinion. I have no clue how to fix my header...none at all. I liked it SO much better when this was up there.

It was so pretty...*reminiscing about my banner at the top, not middle of the page*

Lesson 2: Listen to people when they tell you that you will mess it up.

Yeah that's right, I was told. Lisa said if you don't know anything about HTML you'll mess it up. Even though I *thought* that I knew enough to get me through, I should have NEVER touched it.

So what have I learned from my "Lessons"? Listen to Lisa! DON'T TOUCH IT OR YOUR GOING TO MESS IT UP!

Now somehow I don't have my banner. I can not add a profile picture, and my quick edit on my posts is missing. I don't know what I did...

I have been *flirting* with the idea of sending my darling 3 year old to *gasp* preschool! I SO do not want her to grow up! Preschool is just the beginning...soon it will be kindergarten. Then before you know it she's graduated and off to collage! OMG! It's all happening WAY to fast.

So, I call the school today (secretly hoping that they have no openings, because they took the sign down last week)...No answer, so I leave my message. She calls back. Talk to her...only requirements are that she needs to be 3 years old, and potty trained. Well, *damnit* she's both. They have an open house on the 26th, to meet teachers, and sign up. I suppose we will go...I keep telling myself that it will be good for her AND for me. PLUS it's only from 9-11:30, so she's not going to be gone all day.

This is my baby girl! The weekend she was born, still at the hospital! There's no way she should be going to SCHOOL!

This is her now...all of 3 years old and growing...

Anyone know how to make her stop?!

Boy has the past week been BUSY!!

Jer had family up from Texas. I had only met one of them before. That was a blast!
We went out to eat, to the Warren Dunes, chilled at my MIL's, my house, and in Mi. Also, I got a tink tattoo... I love it! She's not quite "Tink" like you see her and they decided that she needed a piercing. LOVE it!!! Jon (from Tx) does tattoos and he came with all his tattoo stuff. Worked on my MIL's first, then did mine, after me he worked on Jer's...

He does a great job! MIL got one, with her boyfriends name...they fight ALL the time. She also got flowers done in her kids birthstone colors, plus 2 butterflies for her grandkids. She added them to Jer's flower along with a heart for me, all done in our birthstone colors. Off of her boyfriends name she has 2 hearts for his kids. It's a good "idea" with her kids and stuff...but not the boyfriend...expecially since he's always ready to go...IDK. Her foot...she can decide...

I waited until after we went to the Dunes to get mine done. I had never been there. It was a blast! So pretty!! I do have sand all over now, but it's all good!

There is a huge hill that we climbed. It's nothing but sand. The view was great! I did learn that you don't go there in flip flops. The sand was ON FIRE! The closer we got to the top the hotter it got! Maddie and daddy didn't make it all the way up. She wouldn't walk and daddy carried her.

I so would not mind going back there. It's so pretty.

There were other things to do too. They have trails to hike on. Next time we are going to check that stuff out too.

Check it out!!

We are training our dog. Well, trying to train our dog.

He sits fairly well. Lay down, not so well.

So, instead of working on Sit, then Lay my darling husband decides to start teaching him to ROLL OVER! WTF. You work on ONE command until the dog will do that command at least fairly well then, after he has the one command, you work on a new one. I can think of different ones other than roll over to work on. You know...STAY.

I'm sick of the dog already. He STILL pees and poops in the house. I know he's a puppy, but he should be able to at least let me know when he has to go potty. I don't expect the dog to hold it all day. Come on!

I didn't want the dog yet. I just had a baby, and he wanted a dog. He spent $800 on the dog and getting it! We went clear to Tennessee to get it! Yet, the damn dog likes me more! It's because I'm with the dog ALL day, and when J comes home, he does nothing. He's starting to work with the dog though, I guess that's a plus.

There is hair everywhere! He's mean to the little dog (mini doxi), jumps on the kids...drives me crazy! Not to mention he chews on things. My aunt let me keep Rock Band here...he just chewed on a drum stick! Not bad, it just has little holes all over, it's still usable. But, it's not mine and it got chewed on so I have to get new ones. She's going to take money from what she owes for the phone to get some. I found some for $7.99...I'm not buying her a freaking $20 set. I'll take $7.99+tax off what she owes. Nothing more, I shouldn't have to pay extra just because she wants the ones that are $18 something and my dog chewed her stick up. She was talking about getting new ones anyway...So this isn't going to be her excuse to get the "good"ones since I'm technically paying for them.

I'll make a totally different post about the lovely place that my husband works at...

So I did a birthday cake with marshmallow fondant. Let me tell you, I had fun beating it when I got pissed at it! LOL. I didn't have corn starch to put down so I use a light coating of Crisco. It made it to soft, and wouldn't work right. Very good stress relief!

Anyway, we bring the cake in the the boys dad is all "it looks awesome." "looks like it took forever" "it's very beautiful". Really over doing the compliments to the point that he was getting kinda creepy with them (he was in my class in HS...so he's already creepy but yeah...).

So, here is the cake...My shapes are not to great because I was free handing most of them and was in a hurry.

It was his 2nd birthday.

This is the stuff that I am going to have to keep practicing with. It was very easy to make! Just mini marshmallows and powdered sugar. It's very sweet!

I'm definitely going to try it again, and hopefully I will give myself more time than I did doing this one. We were an hour late showing up to the cookout that his cousin Amy had at her house the same day as the party. Hehe...oops. It's not like he does not make us late to things that I want to go to!

The hardest part of the cake was getting the blue fondant over the cake. My rolling pin was not a "normal" one, it was half the length and had a ball on one end and was rounded on the other. I don't know what it was used for.

This would be a nice little business to start up some day if I become good at it. Right now, it's just fun. I love creating things for other people. Normally I do holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas) at my grandparents. My grandma had me do 2 for her to take to church, then the church paid me to do 3 for them. I'm going to start doing them for my husbands family too. Can't cheat them out of the pretty cakes I do now can I?
Jeremy things it's crap that I won't make Maddie's birthday cake. I keep telling him that with all the things that I have to plan for the party (since he does not help) that making the
cake is one of the last things that I want to think about. I would rather buy the thing and only have to worry about when I will go get it. He just does not understand.
My only problem is that I don't have many opportunities to practice. Jer and I don't do cakes to often. My grandma said that she and dad would eat it and to bring it up there. Then mom said that she would take it to work and get their opinions. I might start doing that when we have a little bit of extra cash. That way also if they decide that they like it I might be able to do one for someone she works
with if they need a cake for something...Marketing! Yey mom!
**I had another picture of the cake on here but went to spell check and had a word not working right and deleted it and the whole picture deleted too...**

Too much

Oh holy Hades I did it now. I am supposed to bake a cake, no big deal right...Well I waited way to long and now, I have to do the fondant, bake the cake, put it together. Meanwhile, go to a baseball game, go to a family gathering, then go to the party. Hopefully the family thing is later in the day tomorrow giving me time to do it. Plus! in the morning I have to go to the farmers market since Saturday morning is the only day that it will be open.

I am planning on doing the fondant tonight. This will be my first attempt. We will see how it goes. Then doing the cake tomorrow. I might bake it tonight too and then just put it together tomorrow. I hope it turns out well!

I was going to make plans with a friend to go to the fair and watch the parade, then DH comes home and tells me that they are getting tickets from work to go to a baseball game. Free is free, and they are paying for our parking PLUS giving us "wizard bucks" to spend. NO problem going to the game!

Well we will see if I survive!

OH YEAH!! Mommymatter.com is doing a givaway with TEAlicious. One lucky winner will get a basket of different teas and such from TEAlicious. Hope I win!!

New title

Well, the lovely ladies at mommymatter helped picke out my title. I'm horrible at coming up with "cool" things. They are so cool! :D

I like it, it fits!

Going to hopefully get a cool banner to put up on it.

Well I'm off to do a Walmart survey. One day I'll get lucky and win the gift card!

Oh lordy, it's been a long while. Let me see. Last time I was here I was still pregnant. I now have a 5 month old baby girl. She is getting BIG. Trying to crawl and play with her big sis and the dogs...which by the way we got another one. He is driving me INSANE!

I'm STILL trying to get the house situated. My mom moved out, and we have the house to ourselves. We are painting the living room right now (will post pictures sometime). Got tired of white walls and paneling. I lived in apartments for 3 years that I couldn't paint the white walls dang it I'm going to do it now!! Next will be the hallway, mainly because there is now permanent marker on the wall. Then probably the girl's room. Going to do that in Dora.

Other than taking care of the family, not a whole lot has gone on. I'm "looking" for at least a part time job that I can work evenings. Not going to swell. The stupid gas station has been out of applications for 2 weeks at least! Drives me nuts. I don't want to drive to far away and spend my check on just gas, that will defeat the purpose of me getting a job!

Well, that's pretty much all that's going on. I'm sure I will have more to write about! It's late, I have to put Jer's work clothes in the dryer before I can go to bed so I thought I'd hop on here.
